A Praying For You Card

This week I found several wonderful challenges I wanted to try.

PC060026

I used this sweet digi stamp from The Greeting Farm new Twilight set that was for sale a couple of weekends ago. The saying is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. As you can see I have been practicing with my Copics as well.

The challenges I used:

1. Stampin Sisters in Christ: Challenge #16 - 2 Chronicles 7:14. The challenge is to make a card to let someone know you are praying for them.

2. The Pink Elephant Challenge #44 – Your Favorite Christmas Color Combo.

3. Card Patterns Sketch 44:

What a fun card this was to make! It was so nice to make a card that wasn’t for Christmas.

Continuing A Family Tradition

Our family took a trip east to have a special dinner and milkshake at the World Famous Dairy Palace and then on to Santa Land!

Now my pictures are not that good this year. I had my little one in my lap and the car behind us was riding our bumper.

Each year it is so nice to see our favorite lights as we listen to Christmas music…

080044

Gotta love the Yellow Rose of Texas…

080060

Only in Texas would we have lights on a  cactus and howling wolf…

080054

After we looked at all the lights the kids had a chance to talk with Santa. What a fun night!!!

I hope you have time to go out and look at your local Christmas lights!

Twilight Tuesday #57 – Celebrating!

This week’s Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge is brought to us by our super sweet Margie. Here is what she has to say:

I don't know about you guys, but I'm still celebrating the release of New Moon!

This week's Challenge is to create a "Celebrating" project for the vampire-lover in your life! You can choose any holiday or event i.e. birthday, Christmas, Valentine's, etc.

Have a ton of fun with this one!

Comment portion: There's no denying that we all have wish lists! Especially with the holidays upon us!  Some lists are a little more practical than others... What's on your "not-so-practical" wish list??? Please share!!!

Well today is my son ‘Mr. J's 11th birthday! While he is not a vampire-lover, he does have an interest in seeing New Moon!

PC070002

I made his birthday card using Michael from The Greeting Farm special edition Twilight 2 set. Isn’t he cute! He looks just like Mr. J!

PC070001

I also used Mojo Monday 116 for my layout!

Now what is on my not-so-practical wish list?? I have way too many things on this list! I would love to get a Kindle or even a Wii. I also have a list of stamps and stamping supplies I would love to have….

Now Our Design Team has wonderful projects to display for this week’s challenge – please go and check them out!

This card is my example for Twilight Tuesday Sketch Challenge #16.

I just love this sweet little snowman! I am also practicing using my copics. I learned so much this past weekend and I can’t wait to try out all my new skills! LOL!

Have a wonderful day!

Copic Class Homework

After my last Copic Class, the teacher gave us homework. We had to make a notebook using the paper we are going to use with our copics.

Well I will admit, my Bind It All still scares me. Never the less I pulled it out and made this little 4x6 notebook.

PB290021

The back cover matches the front except for this oval tag with the Eiffel Tower brad.

PB290020

I have had this brad for awhile and I am so happy I could finally use it!

Now I just need to stamp some images in my little notebook and practice my copic coloring!

I just love this sweet bird! I ended up making a second card using him.

PC030005

Now I am going to see what Christmas cards i can make out of the rest of my Unity stamps!

Have a Happy Unity Day!

A Cowboy Christmas

On this past Black Friday 7 Kids College Fund had a sale on their Christmas stamps. Well I just had to get this cute fellow by High Hopes:

PC030008

I love how different this card is compared to other Christmas cards. It is the perfect combo of my love of Texas and Hubby’s love of snowmen.
